Twenty years ago, Tim Thompson was riding into adulthood on the back of a garbage truck. But step by step, Tim and his wife, Heather, began to sense God calling them to something much larger than themselves. Today, after multiple trips to Haiti and many more to Uganda, the Thompsons have added two adopted children to their family and run a non-profit to help provide life-saving resources to thousands more across the globe.
Michelle Wuesthoff is an author and faith coach with a passion for adoption. Her first book, Grafted In, details her journey of discovering comfort and confidence in Christ through the spirit of adoption. Michelle has five children: one biological, two adopted from Korea, and two adopted from Uganda. In this episode, I talk with Michelle about brokenness, obedience, and how she is becoming whole through a new understanding of God as Father. Grafted In releases on September 18, 2018.
